The Great Hall of the People is located on the west side of Tiananmen Square in Beijing, China and on the south side of West Chang'an Avenue. The Great Hall of the People faces east from west, 336 meters long from north to south, 206 meters wide from east to west, and 46.5 meters high. It covers an area of 150,000 square meters and has a construction area of 171,800 square meters.
